The Trilogy

The Trilogy is a series of very distinct business meetings here at the Champlin Park office. While each chapter is different, they share the common theme:
"What is it going to take to succeed in today's tumultuous real estate market?"

To answer this question we look at our industry through three unique perspectives.

Beginning with the 'Big Picture' and the changing players.

Our second installment will deal with the harsh reality of the consumers.

Our final stop will share the vision of how we will succeed.

Industry and Economy Perspective  (Meeting occurred June 29, 2004)
There was a day, in the not so distant past, when the real estate agent was the "keeper of the information". Thus the consumer came to the agent for all their real estate needs.  Those days are long gone!

The rise of the internet has shifted the 'gate keepers'.  Now, instead of one access point, the consumers have multiple sources.

From his well respected economic and industry perspective, Ron Peltier enlightens us to the emerging players in the industry.  From banks and mortgage brokers to car dealers, dot-com companies and super markets.  The race to consumer has never been more intense.

When in reality, these 'new players' are no more than shell intermediaries, who's mission is to capture the customer and sell them back to the real estate agent for a fee.

At stake: The billions of dollars in real estate commissions, as well as your future relationship with the customer.

Consumer Perspective  (Meeting occurred July 20, 2004)

What are the consumers thinking?
What do they think of when they 'think real estate' ?
What do they want?
The second phase of our trilogy gives us critical insights into the minds of the consumer.

We've invited Edina Realty Mortgage Vice President, Joe Brown, to help lead our discovery and discussion into the world of our consumers.

Champlin Park Mission (Meeting occurred Aug 24 2004)
This third and final phase shares our mission here at the Champlin Park Office.  As we delve deeper into the challenges that we face, this promises to be the most involving and interactive chapter in 'The Trilogy'.  We answer the questions:

How do we position ourselves to succeed in this industry?

What are we, as an office providing to ensure your success?

What is our game plan and what are the expectations?

While we are only one office, in a small corner of the real estate world, we do have a voice in the outcome of this challenge.  It is our vision that we make a positive difference in your success as well as the success of our industry.
